The GREAT HEALTH BENEFITS of DATES

I got into a discussion in another online forum where we were discussing some available aphrodisiacs. One guy talked of dates (pictured).  Since I did not know much about dates I did some research on them. What I know is that all food types and spices/herbs that are considered as aphrodisiacs are normally packed with numerous nutrients that super-charge the body such that as much as they have a sexual benefit, they also have a plethora of other health benefits too.
That is how I managed to get the GREAT importance of DATES in our health. Read on and I am sure when you are done with this article, you will be hunting for the dates.

Health Benefits

ONE: ENERGY BOOSTERS
Dates are great energy boosters as they contain natural sugars like glucose, sucrose and fructose. To get more advantage add dates to milk and make it a very nutritious snack. Dates are very low in calories and are extremely suitable for health conscious people.
Dry dates consist of a huge amount of natural sugar (glucose and fructose), which eventually makes them a great energy booster. You can enhance your physical stamina to a greater extent with the help of these nourishing fruits.

TWO: TREATING ANAEMIA
Dates have high iron content and are very useful in treating anemia. The patients can eat many dates for better advantages. Dates also have fluorine that slows down the process of tooth decay. This is a great boost for women since they lose blood monthly and for pregnant and breastfeeding women too.
Dry dates are a great source of iron, one of the most vital minerals in a body. Iron is a major component in red blood corpuscles or haemoglobin and plays a key role in maintaining the amount of blood cells as well as regulating the flow of oxygen in the body. Hence, people who suffer from anaemia (decrease in blood cells) can get immense benefits from dry dates.

THREE: CONSTIPATION
Dates contain very high dietary fiber. The dietary fiber in dry dates is known to heal constipation effectively. They can keep our colon clear by increasing the amount of fecal matter. They also act as laxatives and facilitate the movement of bowel within our body.

FOUR: CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH
The effects of dry dates on our cardiovascular system are also quite appreciated by the experts. They are really low in fat and contain no cholesterol. Moreover, they are capable of controlling the level of low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol in our bloodstream. Low sodium and high potassium content of dry dates are also extensively beneficial for keeping the blood pressure under control.

FIVE: DIARRHEA
Dates are also a rich source of potassium, a mineral that is often lost during diarrhea. Some sites about cancer recommend the intake of fruit juices, sports drinks, potatoes without the skin and some other sources of potassium as a way to ease the recovery process that involves suffering from this ailment.

SIX: WEIGHT GAIN
Due to the high content of sugars present in dates, they are believed to be a good source of calories for those needing to gain weight. Of course this seems not to be a priority nowadays in western countries but still many underdeveloped countries can use dates as a primary source of energy and staple food and to fight starvation.

SEVEN: ANTI AGEING
Dates are a rich source of natural antioxidants. As we know antioxidants are fighting naturally free radicals, the main reason for most of the 21st century illnesses as cancer, accelerated ageing...etc. A diet rich in antioxidants prevents or at least delays the occurrence of those illnesses and can, therefore, help to delay ageing.

EIGHT: HEALTHY SKIN, HAIR AND MUSCLE TONE
Dates are a rich source of vitamins, among those vitamins found in dates the most important group is the group of B vitamins. B vitamins are known to help you keep a healthy skin, hair and muscle tone and therefore dates are a natural way to achieve this.

Loaded with vital nutrients, dried dates can nourish our skin and improve its texture. Regular consumption of these fruits can result in smoother and fairer skin. The Vitamin A content of dry dates is helpful to maintain the health of our skin. It can eliminate dry and dead skin cells, and regenerate fresh and new ones. Consequently, we get healthy, bright and glowing skin.

If you are suffering from excessive hair fall, dry dates can be of great help. It provides nourishment to hair roots as well as scalp and makes your hairs stronger. Thus, we can flaunt our silky and shiny hair.

Calcium content in dry dates is very high. Calcium, being a crucial element of our skeletal system, is necessary for keeping our bones and teeth safe and strong. So, including a handful of dates in your daily diet will be a great choice to stay away from bone problems (osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc.) and dental problems (tooth decay).

Then mentioned minerals are a great source of nutrients that greatly improves a man’s sexual health that includes: Healthy erections, enhanced sperm count that are healthy, health testes, (I read somewhere that it can make them bigger, I am yet to know. I am currently doing a research on PENIS ENLARGEMENT and soon I will publish my findings in this site, so keep visiting).
