ONE: NUTRITION
Proper
nutrition is the foundation for perfect health, and this means eating the right
amount of food constituting a balance diet. In the natural world are varieties
of wholesome grains and vegetables that are highly nutritious and also are also
curative to eat. Invest your time and effort to ensure that you get to know the
most nutritious food that are naturally available in your area and you won’t
regret you did.
TWO: EXERCISE
Exercise is
good for a healthy and happy life. People who radiate vigor and energy in life
are also physically active. Exercise improves the health of body, mind, and
spirit multiplying vitality and health. The skeletal-muscular system is kept in
tone through exercise which may involve simple walking, aerobics, jogging,
running, lifting weights etc for a healthy life, do some exercise daily even if
it means walking around the block!
Energetic
people are more industrious and hence get more out of this life.
THREE: WATER
The body is around
70% water and keeping it properly hydrated is essential for proper health.
Drink the right amount of water, at least 1 liter daily or more depending on
your lifestyle to ensure maximum health. Water improves circulation of blood in
the body and helps in flushing out unwanted impurities.
For proper
digestion, drink water around 15 minutes before eating and around 45 minutes
after eating. Avoid drinking too cold water as this destabilizes the system as
the body struggles to heat the water.
FOUR: SUNLIGHT
Sunlight is supremely
important for the body’s metabolism and hormonal balance. Lack of sunlight
hinders growth for almost everything that exists in this world. Ensure that you
get enough sunlight during the day. Sunlight is also a source of Vitamin D for
the body. Sunlight too helps to maintain the sleeping pattern for a healthy
human being and research indicates that those people who get proper exposure to
sunshine during the day enjoy sleep more than those who do not.
FIVE: TEMPERANCE
This means using the good
things in moderation and avoiding the bad things. Temperance is a good habit
which is essential towards enjoying life to the full. It is a virtue that unfortunately
seems lacking in many people. Moderation in everything is like a fine thread
woven in all the elements for enjoying a healthy lifestyle. The old saying
goes, “too much of something is poisonous.” Just consume the right amount of
everything for yourself.
SIX: AIR
Without air,
the body simply cannot continue to function properly. A good supply of fresh and
pure air is essential for your health. Ensure that you live in a well
circulated environment that has less polluted air. Rural and natural
environments have an abundant of fresh air as compared to urban areas.
Practice
breathing deeply to ensure that your lungs get filled with air. Exercise also
ensures that your body is well supplied with air from environment and this is
good for your health.
SEVEN: REST
Ensure that
you always get the right amount of rest through sleeping soundly for the right
amount of hours, normally an average of 8 for an adult. Proper rest ensures
that your body renews its energy in preparation for a new hectic day. Being
active during the day ensures that you enjoy your rest more as compared to idle
lifestyle.
People who
take their time to rest in order to renew their energy are more innovative,
industrious and intelligent as compared to people who do not hence get more out
if this life.
EIGHT: TRUST
The trust in
God ensures that we are free from worries and troubles of this life. When we
have no worries, it is easier to have and maintain a healthy social,
psychological, emotional and spiritual lifestyle.
This also
applies to being able to trust our fellow human beings. Those people who love
and in return are loved enjoy a healthier lifestyle as compared to those who do
not.
The key to
enjoying this life on earth is as simple as it appears above. Explore more on
the principles and understand them as much as you can, then apply them in real
