5 TELLTALE SIGNS that show she is ready for MARRIAGE

Getting into a relationship may be for myriad reasons but to many, the major reason is to end up getting married. If as a man your reason for getting into a relationship is that you wish to get a marriage partner, there are some basic signs that you can look out for to know if she is indeed ready for marriage or she is just wasting your time.
Marriage is a big deal that remains sacred to man since time immemorial. It marks the time when you say bye to your bachelorhood and forget the time of wooing, flirting with many girls, as you finally settle with the love of your life. But to many men, stories of disappointments and heartbreaks are the only thing they can show from relationships as many girls they meet are either wasting their time with them by just having some good time or you get married to one them and end up in a divorce that occurs as soon as the marriage begins. So, from a societal angle, how can we determine if she is ready for marriage? Read on…

Marriage Ceremony

ONE: SHE WILL LET THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG
Trust me; a girl who wants a serious relationship leading to marriage will simply let you know by her word of mouth whether on the onset of the relationship or sooner than later. She has her focus in life and one of her goals is to get married to a responsible man. She may also hint you through signs which you as a man you need to decode and get to know that she is ready to settle with you and that depends on how you handle each other individually.

TWO: HAS THE FUTURE IN MIND
A girl who wishes to settle in marriage knows that this is not something to joke around with and so she has a clear focus for the future. She has future career goals, where she wish to live or stay, number of children she wish to have in the future, what she wishes to own in the future, what type of a family she wish to have etc. As a man, if you are with a lady who is willing to open up some future details of her aspirations, then know she is as well willing to settle down with you!

THREE: SHE IS JEALOUS/ENVIOUS OF HER FRIENDS WHO HAVE SETTLED
There is some good degree of jealousy and envy that can drive a lady into wanting to be like her friend who is married. You often hear her talking of her sisters, friends, age mates etc who have settled, how far they have gone in life, successes and challenges they have met so far etc. She often talks of also those of her age mates who are settling soon. My brother, if you are in that kind of relationship with such conversions, read between the lines and makes it happen!

FOUR: SHE TALKS ABOUT HAVING CHILDREN
Discussing children may be a sensitive issue but if you are in a relationship and she is talking about how many kids she wishes to get (with you?), then she really means to soon get settled and have babies of her own. Many ladies also enter into a relationship with a man, who they consider as marriage material of a man, with the idea of bearing some children for him, rearing his offspring, nurturing his offspring etc. Ladies are often very willing and proud of that so if you are a guy and you know so well or hear your lady telling you of how she would wish to get a child for you, chances are she wants you as a future husband, make it happen!

FIVE: SHE IS A CAREER LADY
If she is in college, she has a clear focus of what she wants to be in future. If she is working already, she has achieved some milestones in her career and thus she is not afraid to settle down and have a family of her own. If you are a man and your lady have qualities of a good career woman, supporting her by whatever means into achieving her goals will make her want to be with you more for more of that support!

By whatever means, as a man it is always right to discuss with her what she feels about you, her willingness to be with you in the future and what prospects she has in mind as she figure you as a husband. It is not right to jump into conclusion without having her tell you what you wish to conclude. Depending on the amount of trust you have in a relationship, and how much used you are to each other, you can read the signs and make the right conclusion. The signs may vary too depending on individual.

  1. Once the prospective bride and groom is selected by the families and their kundlis matched to make sure that they have a happy married life , the big Indian wedding starts unfurling with its numerous unique culture. Marriage will happen to everyone sooner or later. May be you are busy pubbing and clubbing today but for a happy and secure tomorrow marriage is the only way out. Indian Marriages are not only about the couple, they involve the whole family. The Mehndi night is a festive night in the girl's family where professional Mehndi artists draw intricate designs in henna on the hands of the bride and other female members. During the Sangeet, professional entertainers are brought to regale the guests.

The individuals not only marry each other but tie an everlasting bond with each other's family. The Shagun is exchanged by the prospective families which consist of numerous gifts to the soon to be the wed couples. The wedding rituals start with the Haldi ceremony that is done to purify and ready the bride and groom for their union. Haldi and oil is poured over their body and hair by the family members after which they are forbidden to leave their house.

When any one's marriage is settled, an auspicious day is fixed for the wedding. On the appointed day the bridegroom is taken in a grand procession to the bride's house. He is generally clad in white silk with saffron spots on it. He wears a crown of flowers on his head. He is seated on a fine mare and is joined by a large number of men carrying different sorts of articles of pomp and grandeur. He is accompanied by his relatives and friends who are attired in their best clothes. The children wear very gaudy dresses. The procession is generally led by a band. At intervals fire-works are let off.

When the matrimony procession reaches the bride's house, shouts of welcome in different forms rend the air. The Swaagat is the ritual to welcome the groom and his entourage by the bride's family. The kith and kin of the bride come out to receive the bride-groom and his party and conduct them to a hall richly decorated and illuminated for the occasion. The bride watches the arrival from one window of the house, careful not to gaze upon his face and then comes out to welcome him. The guests and visitors take their seats in the same hall where they are served with tea and sweets. Some who are accustomed to smoke are offered hookas. Afterwards they are led to the dining hall where sweets, pudding, puries and other dainties are lavishly served to them.

During Vidai, the bride's brother is entrusted with couple's care. The Baraat leaves for the groom’s house are announced with drum beats and is welcomed by the women of the family. The wedding reception is the party thrown by the groom's family to announce the wedding and this usually takes place a day after the wedding.

Marriage involves all-the families! And the best of all, it Creates Generations! So think guys and hail this medium of happily remaining in a long term relationship.
