I still remember this very well. It was back in the year 2009 when I received an email from a “very beautiful lady” from Senegal who had befriended me on Tagged, one of the numerous social networking sites. She went ahead and told me that she is a Daughter of the late President of the country and before her father’s death, he wrote a will for her to inherit USD 900,000 (Kshs 72,000,000.00). But due to some political strife, it would be impossible for her to withdraw the money in her country.
As she told me, all she wanted was that I should help her to relocate to Kenya, assist her to transfer the money into my bank account, assist her to relocate to Kenya and since she was full of praises of how handsome I were (and I know I am!), she even claimed to have fallen head over heels in love with me and was willing to spend the rest of her life with me in Kenya. Well, the prospect of double blessings, a strikingly beautiful young lady with awesome riches and a miraculous deliverance from a low level citizen to a first class Kenyan was too enticing! OH! SUPERB ALPINE ROSE!

Flowers are believed by many people as mostly a feminine attraction. But despite being a man I have to admit that I love flowers so much and my favorite being “The Red Rose” also known as “Rosemary”. When it comes to relaxation moments I am a bit of a naturalist mostly preferring some solitude moments in natural scenes, my favorite being montane whenever I want to reenergize my mental batteries. To me a clerk weaver’s song in its natural surrounding is more entertaining than any human song on earth, and the sparkle of countless stars in the heavenly firmaments at night is more enchanting than any disco lights ever invented.

It was during one of my visits to the mountains that I came across a beautiful red rose seemingly looking heavenward as if receiving blessings from on high, and that inspired me to write the poem below, which despite having a natural and romantic tune, to me it has a deeper meaning. 

The UNIQUENESS of the EAGLE!

The United States of America, the most powerful nation on Earth, uses the eagle as its symbol of power and majesty since the year 1782. Many other nations across the world use the eagle symbolically mostly in their coat of arms, examples of these nations: Coat of Arms of Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Iraq, Mexico etc The Eagle has also been used symbolically in the past by great empires like the Persian Empire whose army was symbolized by an Eagle. Other empires were the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Russian Empire, etc. 

God too in His great wisdom also did use the Eagle many times symbolically to represent strength (Isaiah 40:31), swiftness (Habakkuk 1:8), messenger (Revelation 8:13) etc

Modern musicians also recognize the Eagle’s abilities e.g. Reggae musician Alaine in her wonderful Lyrics “Up” where she passes the clear yet powerful message that you should live a stress free life, “Just open your eyes, reach to the skies, soaring up higher, spread your wings and fly…”( I personally find a lot of inspiration from this fantastic song!) An Allegory of a MAD MAN

It was one of the biggest crusades that I have ever held. People were flocking from all directions and it was evident that the lord was on my side, and I was going to win as many proselytes as possible. Every time I stood to preach on the pulpit, I could see many people attentively listening to my sermons. People were leaving their business and daily works just to come and listen to me.

“Pastor Kiasman is truly a prophet, his words are very encouraging. His sermons are real food for thought and a healing for our souls.” I once heard a woman say.
